I took this photo looking up at this gigantic sunflower that I grew. I thought it looked really nice with the sky in the background.

I graduated from Governors State University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. I am also a mother of two. I have gone through very hard times in my life but have made it through mostly everything. My son was diagnosed with Autism in 2009. Some days are harder than others. We make it through! I started going to school after I went through counseling for domestic violence issues that I had with my children's father. I was motivated by some of my family and friends but mostly by my counselors and my fiance. I am truly grateful for those who were there for me through my hardest times and helped me get back on my feet. My son has been progressing with a lot of help from everyone...

Thank you Jeremy!!

Thanks! It is a giant Russian sunflower and it probably was pretty close to 10 feet tall. I thought it would look cool if I could make the sky be the background so I just got underneath the flower, which was drooping down a bit, and aimed upwards. The sky was perfect that day for doing this type of picture. Thanks for the info on the program that you used for your Willys coupe image. We are using Adobe Illustrator for the Electronic Drawing and Design class that I am in and it is not cheap to buy.

Great image-really like the lighting effect with the sky in the background. I grew several giant Russian sunflowers in my backyard last summer-they were huge-over 10 feet tall! Thanks for the comment on my Willys coupe image-I use Art of Illusion for all my digital images-you can download it for free off the Internet if you ever want to try it out, they have tutorials that show you the basics of how use it then you can experiment on your own.
