Artist's Description
I took this photo August 2009 with a 35mm Olympus. I loved the way the rays of sunlight looked as the sun set behind the city of Chicago. I couldn't figure out all the names of the buildings since the photo is somewhat like a silhouette.
About Verana Stark
I graduated from Governors State University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. I am also a mother of two. I have gone through very hard times in my life but have made it through mostly everything. My son was diagnosed with Autism in 2009. Some days are harder than others. We make it through! I started going to school after I went through counseling for domestic violence issues that I had with my children's father. I was motivated by some of my family and friends but mostly by my counselors and my fiance. I am truly grateful for those who were there for me through my hardest times and helped me get back on my feet. My son has been progressing with a lot of help from everyone...

Verana, I agree with Odd, this is a gorgeous, outrageous shot! Really beautiful. I used to use my 35mm film camera... it's a great camera, and you take a great shot! Love the division of the sky into halves! Favorited!
