Drew this windmill from looking at a photo for one class and was able to use the same image once again for another project. Carved the image in linoleum and made a print. It is on display right now in the library at Governors State near the printers.
I graduated from Governors State University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. I am also a mother of two. I started going to school after I went through counseling for domestic violence issues that I had with my children's father. I was motivated by some of my family and friends but mostly by my counselors and my fiance. I am truly grateful for those who were there for me through my hardest times and helped me get back on my feet. My son has been progressing with a lot of help from everyone...

Thank you Deb! Maybe I will look for those new materials when I go to the craft store next time. Thanks!

Great image! There are new materials to carve on that are much easier and give the same results. Deb

Thanks so much! These aren't easy to do . If anyone hasn't tried printmaking, you may love it. I sure do and I still want to take more and more printmaking classes but the degree I am going for is a BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging. One big reason that I loved this type of artwork is that I was able to integrate my photography into my printmaking art.
