A friend of mine let me borrow their lens to get some closeup shots and I came across this beautiful monarch. I also did a screen print of this shot last semester in school. I'll post that another day.

I graduated from Governors State University with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. I am also a mother of two. I have gone through very hard times in my life but have made it through mostly everything. My son was diagnosed with Autism in 2009. Some days are harder than others. We make it through! I started going to school after I went through counseling for domestic violence issues that I had with my children's father. I was motivated by some of my family and friends but mostly by my counselors and my fiance. I am truly grateful for those who were there for me through my hardest times and helped me get back on my feet. My son has been progressing with a lot of help from everyone...
